Dateline 23 August 2009: The mighty ProCon return with the second video from their stellar Kingmaker album.
Did you know it’s still only $7 here in Ginchopolis? SEVEN DOLLARS? When is the last time you paid under eight bucks for a CD this good? Never, we’re guessing. That’s cheaper than a download, and you get a lyric sheet, cool packaging and EVERYTHING! So, pick up a copy if you don’t have one yet. And, if you already do, we’re sure you know someone you need to turn on. |

| So, turn them on and turn it up. Up up up up up! |

Dateline 10 May 2009: It's so hot, looks like you have three beaks crow! With apologies to the Captain, it IS hot, and we’re making it hotter in preparation to ProCon hitting the road soon. As a summertime Bootique shaker, we are dropping the price of their incredible Kingmaker for only seven bucks! Are we nuts? Well, what does that have to do with anything? We just want to make sure the best album of 2008 gets into the hands of as many of you in the Neon City as it can. Think of it as a good, old-fashioned $6.98 list – then add two cents for inflation. Ginchopolis is NOT the one who is gonna break you with this fabulous sale price. Plus that leaves you more to pick up one of the other great rekkids in the store. In other news, Ginchopolis is working on wowing you with a new release in the coming months. We’ve found an artist we dig, and we think you will too. We haven’t steered you wrong yet, have we? Stay tuned for info on that. |

Dateline 05 January 2009: As we enter a New Year, we at Ginchopolis thank you for your support in 2008. We’re also looking forward to 2009 as the fabulous ProCon hits the road and unleashes a new video, Time Bomb Symphony gets ready to explode and The Surreal McCoy’s stay out of jail. Hopefully. To encourage you to jump into the pool here, we’re offering an incredible offer. A FREE Ginchopolis sampler with any purchase from the store, featuring a track by each artist in the store: ProCon, The Surreal McCoy’s, Mike Ragogna, The Mystic Underground, The Weirdo Deluxe and Time Bomb Symphony. If that wasn’t enough it also includes a ProCon track UNAVAILABLE ANYWHERE ELSE! Monosurround’s “Delia” remix is featured here and only here. Well, on the sampler, that is. We’re also kicking out the old and bringing in the new by offering two new releases, which are old. What? Yep, more Mike Ragogna platters have made their way into the store.
Make a New Year’s resolution and support independent music. Even if you don’t get it from Ginchopolis (even though we’d prefer that you do – and you get a free sampler to boot…), take a chance and buy something. Remember when half the fun of picking something up was the discovery? We here in the Big G want to bring that excitement back. We strive to bring you great music in all genres. Something for everyone. And all worthwhile. Take some advice from ProCon – Turn it up! Up! Up! Up! Up! In 2009. |

Dateline 01 November 2008: Just because Halloween has passed, doesn’t mean you don’t need a visit from The Count. Count Feedback, that is. If you haven’t picked up ProCon’s stellar Kingmaker yet – now’s the perfect time.
To give thanks to those who support fine, independent music – Ginchopolis is offering FREE domestic shipping through the month of November! No matter how large your order may be, shipping inside the United States won’t cost you a thing. All you’re paying for is the music. Why download when you can get the superior sounding and looking physical version and rip it yourself? Visit the store and see what’s there… Speaking of the store, Ginchopolis is proud to welcome The Mystic Underground into the family.

Dateline 25 October 2008: ProCon’s Kingmaker continues to gain rave reviews, like this one from Canada's Xtra: "Toronto duo ProCon, comprised of Count Feedback and Countess Christsmasher(!) returns this fall with the new disc "Kingmaker", which contains some absolutely amazing songs. I am not exaggerating one bit. Songs like "Delia" and "Pretty Pony" are astounding feats of superb songwriting and technical prowess. On their MySpace page they list Daft Punk and Hall & Oates as their influences in the same sentence, so you know they're cool." ProCon is currently working on a video for "Lunar Hammer (Turn It Up!)" We'll let you know when it's ready to go and you'll be able to see it here in Ginchopolis! ProCon Tour Dates Canada Oct 30 at Wrongbar, Toronto 12pm US New York City, meet the Neon City! Check out the store for new offerings in every flavor: power pop from Destroy The Heart, singer/songwriter-ing from Mike Ragogna, old school cow punk from The Surreal McCoys and whatever it is The Weirdo Deluxe does… |
